You’ll start with learning how to identify and describe the components that make up the heavy-duty clutch system and basic medium-duty and heavy-duty powertrain and how they operate. You’ll take a deep dive into transmissions including how to inspect, replace, and service different parts and even remove and reinstall the transmission completely. This class will finish with the components and operation of a truck driveline and various through-drive and single reduction differentials. This class teaches these concepts with text, images, diagrams, animations, and quizzes. After you finish all the labs and quizzes and score a 70% or higher on your first try, you’ll receive a certificate of completion.
