In this premium, two hour GoToWebinar course students will be given an advanced look at the Detroit Diagnostic Link 8 software. Attendees will learn everything from gathering fault code information, all the way to programming modules. See below for a list of course topics. In this webinar you will learn:
- How to set up your RP1210 communication adapter (aka Diesel Link, Nexiq, DPA5, etc...) with the DL8 software.
- How to get connected to vehicles and start reading data
- How to verify if a module is connected or if it is offline (due to power, module, or datalink issues)
- Explain the different modules briefly and what they control (CPC, MCM, ACM, ABS etc…
- How to read and write the Detroit ECU programmable parameters such as road speed, Idle shutdown, and others.
