Gain a simplified and practical understanding of Cummins High-Pressure Common Rail (HPCR) fuel system operation, control strategy and troubleshooting. In this 4-hour virtual classroom training session Kevin Vieth from VieTech will breakdown the Cummins and Bosch HPCR fuel system utilized on Cummins B/C/L and X model engines. Fuel system faults and related symptoms will be discussed in detail including troubleshooting tactics and tools for the common Low Rail Pressure fault code 559. This class is ideal for both diesel technicians and heavy-equipment technicians and other technical support staff. Please note students will be receiving learning materials through the mail so please provide a proper shipping address. Because of this, if you register within 10 days of the class date, you will be receiving a virtual copy of the booklet.

Course Overview

A healthy fuel system is essential to maintaining peak performance. Most faults on modern High-Pressure Common Rail (HPCR) fuel systems go undiagnosed and lead to aftertreatment system failures and performance complaints. Technicians will gain an in-depth understanding of HPCR theory and operation as well as how to identify and properly troubleshoot common fuel system issues specifically the common Low-Rail Pressure fault code 559. You will be receiving a course workbook to complete during the class through the mail so please provide a proper shipping address.
